Accepting these terms

These terms apply to the Arrow Puzzle website at https://arrowpuzzle.iamtac.com, the game that runs on it, and the Arrow Puzzle browser extension for Chrome and Edge. Together we call these the service.

By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it and remove the extension.

The service is operated by iamtac. Where these terms say "we" or "us", that is who they mean.

Your licence to use it

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the service for your own entertainment, free of charge.

You may not:

• sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise commercialise the service;
• republish it as your own, in whole or in part;
• remove or obscure attribution, notices or branding;
• repackage the extension and submit it to a store as a separate listing.

Reading the code to understand how it works, or to satisfy yourself about the privacy claims we make, is expressly fine.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its server;
• probe or attack the drop code endpoint, or attempt to brute force codes;
• use automated tools to make requests at a rate a person could not;
• introduce malicious code, or use the service to distribute it;
• use the service in a way that breaks the law where you are.

We may block access if we reasonably believe any of the above is happening.

Your progress and save data

Your progress lives in your browser, not on our servers. That has a practical consequence worth stating plainly: we cannot recover it.

If you clear your browser data, switch device, switch browser, use a private window, or remove the extension, your progress goes with it. There is no backup and no account to restore from. This is a direct trade-off for collecting no data about you, and we think it is the right one, but you should know about it.

Progress on the website and progress in the extension are separate and do not sync.

Drop codes

Drop codes restore an attempt after your free drops are used. They rotate on a 60 second cycle and can be generated for free at any time from the drop tokens page.

They are a convenience, not a product. They cost nothing, they have no monetary value, they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and we may change or withdraw the feature at any time.

Intellectual property

The Arrow Puzzle name, the game design, the level generation system, the artwork, the copy on this site and the source code are owned by iamtac unless stated otherwise.

Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Edge Add-ons are trademarks of their respective owners. We claim no rights in them and are not affiliated with either company. See the disclaimer.

Availability

We would like the site to be up all the time, and we do not promise that it will be. It may be unavailable for maintenance, because of a hosting problem, or for reasons outside our control.

The extension is the more durable option: once installed it does not need our servers at all, so it keeps working whatever happens to this website.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, nor that every generated level is solvable in the way you expect.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, progress, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service. Since the service is free, that amount is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time by closing the site and removing the extension. No notice is needed.

We may suspend or withdraw the service, in whole or in part, at any time. If we retire the website, any extension you have already installed will continue to work offline.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be recorded in the changelog. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continue to apply.
